Q: Why should I get Ultrasonic Cavitation?

A: Traditional weight loss methods (dieting), leave your body feeling like it's starving, which causes the body to go into "conservation mode". This means that your metabolism slows down and your body starts using it's energy more efficiently, making it harder for you to shed fat and pounds. When the diet is over and the weight starts creeping back on, your body will pack on a few extra pounds to store up for the next time it anticipates a famine. By contrast, Ultrasonic Cavitation doesn't cause the body to "panic", and it won't fight against you by working so hard to hold on to it's fat reserves. The fat is eliminated naturally, being processed by your body's own filtration system. Compared to surgical methods (gastric bypass, lap band, liposuction, etc), there is no scarring, no bleeding, no risk of infection, no pain, no down-time for recovery and, in most cases, Ultrasonic Cavitation is much more affordable. Compared to fat-freezing and laser fat removal procedures (such as iLipo, Zerona and SmartLipo), the results are more immediate and dramatic and there is absolutely no pain or down-time.

Other Reason: Obesity increases physical stress and stress-related pain, takes up to 10 years off your life expectancy, is the leading cause of cardiovascular disease and is associated with type 11 diabetes (the most common type.) Obesity lowers your self-esteem, motivation and overall productivity, which can result in laziness, depression, lack of career success and more obesity. Achieving an appropriate level of body fat will result in better health, fewer aches & pains, less stress, better quality sleep, more energy, fewer health-related expenses, better self-esteem, less need for medical treatment and prescription drugs, better moods, healthier relationships and more satisfying sex.

Q: How does Ultrasonic Cavitation work?

A: The Ultrasonic Cavitation machine uses sound waves/frequencies to implode the fat cell walls, which causes the fat cells to circulate their contents into the fluid spaces of your body. From there, your lymph system picks up this waste material (the loose fat) and begins circulating it through your body until it can be processed by the liver and eliminated with sweat, urine and faeces. The results are visibly noticeable immediately, however the entire process can take several days, and you will continue to experience results during this time.

Q: What's the difference Between Ultrasonic Cavitation and other Ultrasonic Slimming Treatments?

A: Cavitation (disruption and permanent removal of fat cells) occurs specifically at 25-28k mHz frequency. Other ultrasonic slimming treatments use 40k mHz frequency, which temporarily tones and tightens the skin, but does not remove fat. You can experience a much more dramatically visual result with 40k treatments, but the effects will wear off after a few weeks.

Q: Who can get Ultrasonic Cavitation and Ultrasonic Slimming treatments?

A: : The best candidates for Ultrasonic fat removal are healthy men and women who are moderately overweight, wishing to lose between 5-45 kilos. If you have any doubt as to whether you are healthy enough to receive treatments, you should consult with your physician first.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Q: How quickly will I begin to see results?

A: :You should notice a measurable difference immediately after your first treatment, with the most dramatic difference observable 72 hours after each treatment.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Q: How much result can I expect after each treatment?

A: Results with Ultrasonic Cavitation will vary depending on how long the fat has existed, how dense it is, how hydrated you are, how well your lymph is circulating, etc. Immature, light and "fluffy" fat is much easier to eliminate than mature, dense fat, and thin lymph fluid will yield more rapid results than thick, viscous fluid. Statistically, you can expect up to 1-4cm loss after the first treatment and up to 1/4cm – 2cm after each subsequent treatment.

Q: Will I end up with saggy skin if I lose a lot of weight?

A: Ultrasonic Cavitation has a slight firming, toning and tightening effect on the skin and muscle tissue, so even if you have sagging skin resulting from earlier weight loss efforts, ultrasound cavitation will help. Of course, actual results will vary.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Q: How often can/should I receive Ultrasonic Cavitation?

A: You can safely receive Ultrasonic Cavitation treatments as often as every 3 days. Of course, the more frequently you receive treatments, the faster and more dramatic will be your permanent results.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Q: How much of my body is treated during each appointment?

A: A single 30min treatment session can cover of an area the size of your belly, your inner/front or outer/back thighs, your buttocks or your back. Smaller areas, such as a double chin and upper arm flab, can be treated together. We recommended focusing at least 3 treatments to a single area before moving around to other areas, so obvious results may be acheived more quickly.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Q: How many total Ultrasonic Cavitation treatments will I need?

A:The answer to this question varies a great deal, as there are many factors to consider. For example, you need to consider how much fat you want to eliminate, how long the fat has been there, how dense the fat is, etc. Typically, a post-pregnancy patient wishing to eliminate a "muffin-top" leftover from childbirth may need 3-6 abdominal treatments, while a person who has been moderately obese for several years may need 2-3 times as many.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Q: How much time do I need to take off work for recovery?

A: There is absolutely no pain, and no recovery time required after treatments! The treatment is warm, soothing and pleasant - much like a hot stone massage. You can receive a treatment during your lunch hour and then drive yourself back to work immediately afterward.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Q: What are the potential side-effects?

A: While side-effects are rarely reported, they occur occasionally, and usually involve a slight redness or irritation of the skin that resolves within a few hours. There is also a potential to feel an increase in energy, since the body will naturally attempt to use some of the energy reserves released from the fat. Independent studies have shown a decrease in cholesterol and triglyceride levels, which seem to be further enhanced with the addition of dietary supplements. Here are some side effects that I have observed from working with Ultrasonic Cavitation in my Treatment Centre:

Q: What is the difference between weight loss and fat loss?

A: Weight loss refers to losing kilos on the scale either from muscle, fat or water, while fat loss, isn’t much about the scale but about getting rid of body fat, losing inches in all the right places and looking slimmer. Fat loss reduces total body fat percentage thereby reducing risks of Obesity and heart disease.
